Andrea Baumann Lustig is a Managing Partner of Fischer Stralem Advisors, a wealth management practice within Hightower Advisors. She has been recognized as a Forbes Top Women Wealth Advisor Best in State for five consecutive years (2022–2026*) and as one of Advisor Hub’s top 250 “advisors to watch” for 2025. Andrea brings deep experience in wealth and investment management to help clients create lasting legacies that reflect their values and vision.

Andrea’s passion for legacy is in her DNA. She is the sixth generation in her family to lead a wealth management practice, tracing her lineage back to 1810 when her great-great-great-grandfather founded Banque Levy in France. Her grandfather led Banque Asch, Strasbourg's largest bank, guiding French families in wealth management until World War II forced the family to flee to the United States. Andrea's father carried the legacy forward as an early partner in Stralem & Company, founded in 1967 and acquired by Hightower in 2020. Inspired by the enduring success of multigenerational families, Andrea has devoted her career to helping clients build meaningful legacies—sharing insights she has gained to guide them in creating and protecting purpose-driven wealth.

Andrea graduated from Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs, where she earned Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in International Relations, and from Yale University, where she received her Master of Business Administration degree. She has had an expansive career in investment banking, management consulting and wealth management. Prior to joining Stralem, she was vice president with Bernstein Investment Research and Management, where she worked with private clients. She joined Bernstein following more than a decade at Booz, Allen & Hamilton, Inc., an international management consulting firm, where she was a principal in the Strategy Practice and director of operations for the Financial Services Practice in the United States and in Europe. She joined Booz-Allen after serving as a financial analyst in Mergers and Acquisitions at Morgan Stanley & Co. Incorporated and as an associate in Investment Banking at Jefferies & Co.

She actively contributes her experience to advancing nonprofit organizations, serving on advisory boards at Princeton University, the Yale International Center for Finance, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, the Weizmann Institute of Science, and Park Avenue Synagogue, where she chaired its record-breaking 2023 capital campaign. Andrea is married, a proud mother of three daughters, and grandmother to three beloved grandchildren.

for advisers

give your clients clarity, confidence, and connection

As a wealth adviser, your role extends far beyond managing assets—you guide families through some of the most important decisions they’ll ever make. Legacy on the Line was written with that responsibility in mind. It’s a resource designed to help your clients articulate their intentions, strengthen family relationships, protect and grow the legacy they’ve worked so hard to build.

By sharing this book with clients, you reinforce your position as the advisor who sees the full picture—not just the financial capital, but the human and emotional capital that determines whether a legacy truly endures.

why choose legacy on the line for your clients

Offering a resource that addresses family dynamics, communication, and values shows that you’re committed to more than investment performance; you’re committed to the well‑being of the entire family.

Stand out as a holistic adviser

The book opens the door to thoughtful conversations with spouses, adult children, and heirs, positioning you as a steady guide for the whole family, not just the primary wealth creator.

Deepen trust across generations

With clear frameworks and real‑world stories, clients gain confidence in making legacy decisions, leading to more productive planning meetings and stronger long‑term alignment.

Help clients plan with purpose

Wealth often creates complexity, expectations, and emotions that families struggle to discuss. Providing a roadmap for those conversations elevates your role from adviser to trusted family partner.

Become the adviser who solves the “unsaid” challenges

Educating clients with thoughtful tools demonstrates your commitment to empowering them, which clients remember and appreciate.

Strengthen client relationships by adding genuine value.

Families who communicate clearly transfer not just assets, but wisdom, values, and vision, thereby reducing conflict and increasing the likelihood of continuity.

Support wealth transfer that actually works.

A Simple Gesture With a Powerful Impact

Giving your clients Legacy on the Line demonstrates that you’re invested in what matters most to them: family, purpose, and long‑term stewardship of their legacy. It’s a differentiator that elevates your practice and deepens relationships in a way numbers alone never could.
