Andrea Baumann Lustig is a Managing Partner of Fischer Stralem Advisors, a wealth management practice within Hightower Advisors. She has been recognized as a Forbes Top Women Wealth Advisor Best in State for five consecutive years (2022–2026*) and as one of Advisor Hub’s top 250 “advisors to watch” for 2025. Andrea brings deep experience in wealth and investment management to help clients create lasting legacies that reflect their values and vision.
Andrea’s passion for legacy is in her DNA. She is the sixth generation in her family to lead a wealth management practice, tracing her lineage back to 1810 when her great-great-great-grandfather founded Banque Levy in France. Her grandfather led Banque Asch, Strasbourg's largest bank, guiding French families in wealth management until World War II forced the family to flee to the United States. Andrea's father carried the legacy forward as an early partner in Stralem & Company, founded in 1967 and acquired by Hightower in 2020. Inspired by the enduring success of multigenerational families, Andrea has devoted her career to helping clients build meaningful legacies—sharing insights she has gained to guide them in creating and protecting purpose-driven wealth.
Andrea graduated from Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs, where she earned Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in International Relations, and from Yale University, where she received her Master of Business Administration degree. She has had an expansive career in investment banking, management consulting and wealth management. Prior to joining Stralem, she was vice president with Bernstein Investment Research and Management, where she worked with private clients. She joined Bernstein following more than a decade at Booz, Allen & Hamilton, Inc., an international management consulting firm, where she was a principal in the Strategy Practice and director of operations for the Financial Services Practice in the United States and in Europe. She joined Booz-Allen after serving as a financial analyst in Mergers and Acquisitions at Morgan Stanley & Co. Incorporated and as an associate in Investment Banking at Jefferies & Co.
She actively contributes her experience to advancing nonprofit organizations, serving on advisory boards at Princeton University, the Yale International Center for Finance, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, the Weizmann Institute of Science, and Park Avenue Synagogue, where she chaired its record-breaking 2023 capital campaign. Andrea is married, a proud mother of three daughters, and grandmother to three beloved grandchildren.
